A day to discover the joy of downhill mountain biking in the Portes du Soleil!
Explore the Franco-Swiss Portes du Soleil area and enjoy the thrills. A certified Jeunesse & Sport guide will take you on easy DH trails and advise you on riding techniques.
Program :
– Departure from Morgins by bike to the Bikepark in Châtel, lunch in a high altitude restaurant, then return to Morgins via Les Crosets.
Required equipment:
– Full-suspension mountain bike with hydraulic disc brakes, full-face helmet, back protector, knee pads, elbow pads and gloves (a big downhill bike with a double-T fork is not mandatory, but recommended, a good enduro mountain bike is sufficient).
– A day pass for the Portes du Soleil ski lifts.
– An inner tube adapted to the size of the bike.
– A backpack containing: a bottle of water, sun cream and sunglasses.
Practical information :
– The activity is accessible from 12 years old, a good general level in cycling is required.
A minimum of technique is necessary, i.e. being comfortable with the brakes and a good balance while standing on the bike, with the pedals flat and horizontal.
Reservations are open until 5:00 pm the day before.
Animation maintained from 3 participants.
