The Cultural Commission invites you to its next conference on the theme “Women Healers in History”, on Friday 4 November 2022, at 7pm in the Parish Hall.
Respected, venerated, feared or even exterminated, women healers are found throughout history: from the ancient priestesses to the women doctors of the Middle Ages, to the “witches” who were burned at the stake. Marie Laurrin, a French-Swedish author, invites you to follow the destiny of these women healers throughout history. She will also sign her novels, including her two-time award-winning historical saga and her new Swedish thriller at the end of the conference.
