The penultimate qualifying event for the UCI Gravel World Championships, the Alpine Gravel Challenge will take place in the Dents du Midi region on Sunday, September 8, 2024.
This is the very first edition of the TREK UCI Gravel World Series to be held on a cross-border territory, in this case the Portes du Soleil, straddling Switzerland and France.
Riders will compete on the Haute Cime, Forteresse or Cathédrale courses, in tribute to the famous Dents du Midi massif, which will be the backdrop for the day’s events.
Demanding and varied, almost entirely off-road, they will use the best gravel tracks available.

– Starting from the town of Monthey and the village of Champéry, the discovery of the spectacular scenery of the Portes du Soleil promises to be grandiose!
