Led by a weaver, a cutler and two carpenters

The heritage comes to life at Vieux Moulins de la Tine! Dive into the heart of the gestures of yesteryear with unique demonstrations every weekend in July and August from Sunday, July 13. These animations offer you a rare opportunity to see, feel and hear the trades that made the heart of our valleys beat. A living, authentic and accessible moment for all – young and old, curious and passionate.

Saturday, July 26 program:
– The weaver will make you discover the art of weaving in the old way: the regular noise of the loom, the threads that take shape… a dive into a delicate and precise knowledge.
– The cutler will make you discover the meticulous art of making knives. Between forging, sharpening and finishing, assist each step of the creation of an object both useful and loaded with history.
– A carpenter will be restoring the saw-sharpening press, one of the many tools in the mill awaiting repair.
– And the second carpenter will share his know-how by restoring, before your eyes, old objects donated to the Mills during the reconstruction.
