Region Dents du Midi offers more than 100 km of slopes and 35 ski lifts in 4 unique resorts – Champéry, Les Crosets, Champoussin and Morgins. Together with our neighbours in France, we make up Les Portes du Soleil – 600 km of winter sports fun and just one lift pass! What’s more, we’re known for our exceptional sunshine, perfectly groomed snow and spectacular topography. From blue runs to black runs to restaurants on-piste, there’s room to groove and fun for everyone here.
1. Les Crosets
A busy crossroads, Les Crosets has something for everyone. Carving enthusiasts and speed demons will beeline under the chairlift to the ‘Stade’ racing and training slope. To the right of the Superpark, the run is just steep enough to make the perfect thigh-burning warmup run. Families love the gentle blue run to the left, which detours by the tempting terrace at the Refuge du Chaudron restaurant. Smack in the middle of all this, the iconic Superpark has been the designated stomping-grounds for freestyle skiers and snowboarders since the 80’s.

2. Les Bochasses
There is a reason why Les Bochasses is plural! This slope offers a multitude of possibilities, with two blue runs, a red variant for more experienced skiers, and the exciting Rivella Fun Zone to strut your stuff right under the chairlift! The Fun Zone is home to the Rivella Speedcheck, where you can time your schuss, and a boardercross course, with banked turns designed to challenge your ability to stay in control while maintaining maximum speed!

3. Chavanette “The Swiss wall”
The famous ‘Swiss Wall’ ranks among the world’s toughest ski slopes. With a 331m drop over the 1-kilometre slope and a dizzying 40° angle, too steep for snow grooming machines, the bumps at the top regularly attain 2 metres in height, the size of a Volkswagen Beetle!

4. Didier Défago / Bonavau
This long, winding piste is named for our very own Olympic gold medallist and World Champion, Didier Défago. This challenging but enjoyable run traverses a remote, wooded valley which was previously accessible only to off-piste skiers.

5. Pierre à Cornieule / Pointe de l’Au
Short but sweet! The Pierre à Cornieule is the perfect piste for perfecting your turning technique. Whether you’re master of the vintage Hippie Wiggle or prefer a massive Airplane Carve, straight downhill is not an option on this natural boardercross. When you’re done, head back to the lifts is via the Gueilly – Champoussin blue run.

6. Ripaille
The longest piste in the Portes du Soleil, Ripaille skims the foothills of the mighty Dents Blanches mountains, spanning an endless variety of landscapes along the way. At the start (1790 m), a charming on-piste restaurant provides the perfect stopping point for a quick pick-me-up or an end-of-day aperitif. The wide, groomed slopes then give way to rolling bumps and a thigh-burning schuss before the run levels out onto a wonderland path through silent, snow-covered forests, all the way to Grand Paradis (1055 m).

7. SEpaya
Easily accessible yet sheltered from the swiftly flowing rivers of skiers coursing along the main thoroughfares, Sépaya offers a wide piste with the gentlest of slopes, perfect for beginners or families with young children looking to discover the joys of skiing at their own pace.
