Milking Cows & Raclette Tasting

Put yourself in the shoes of a mountain farmer as you discover how cows are milked, then enjoy a delicious raclette.

You’ll meet our cheesemaker along an alpine road to reach the mobile milking unit in the middle of a pasture, where you’ll learn the tricks of the trade. After the effort, you’ll be offered a raclette and a welcome drink. An authentic moment of sharing in an atypical setting!

Practical information:
– The venue is about a 30-45 minute walk from the Porte de Culet parking lot. Signs will guide you to the exact location where the cows will be milked.
– Event starts at 5:00 p.m.
– For those with walking difficulties, it is possible to go directly to the Champsot 2 mountain pasture at 6:00 p.m. for a visit of the pasture and a meal.

Recommended equipment:
– Bring waterproof clothing and footwear suitable for the mountains.

Reservations are open until 5:00 pm the day before.
Activity maintained for 2 participants or more.

Opening hours

From 03/07 to 24/07/2025, every Thursday between 4.30 pm and 9 pm.
To ensure that you arrive on time for the event, we recommend that you start walking from the Col Portes de Culet parking lot at 4.30pm at the latest, to reach the event venue by 5pm.

From 07/08 to 28/08/2025, every Thursday between 4.30 pm and 9 pm.
To ensure that you arrive on time for the event, we recommend that you start your walk no later than 4.30pm from the Porte de Culet parking lot, to reach the event venue by 5pm.

Full price: 30 CHF, Child (7-12 years): 20 CHF.
Free entry for children under 7.
