The parishes of the Valley and the "Patrimoine Champérolain" Foundation invite you on a pilgrimage around the local oratories, followed by a picnic.
Oratories are small monuments that can be found along our roads and paths. Erected in fulfilment of a vow, to give thanks for a grace granted, or more simply to honour the Saint to whom they are dedicated, their location or their environment are not accidental, placed in evidence at a crossroads, at a pass, at a perilous passage, indicators of a path. The oratories invite us to meditation and prayer. They are part of the landscape of our countries and our religious and artistic heritage.
