This long, winding piste, named for our local Olympic gold medallist and World Champion Didier Defago, traverses a magnificent wooded valley which was previously accessible only to off-piste skiers.
After a world-cup-worthy start at the top of a vertiginous wall, the rest of the slope is a lively, rolling jaunt to the champion’s native village, Morgins.
