This easy hike, which follows the Vièze River in the They Valley, is a bee-utiful way to spend a summer afternoon!
Albert Einstein claimed that if bees were to disappear, mankind would only have four years to live!
The Bee Trail follows the Vièze River from Morgins to the fertilization station in La Tovassière and features 20 panels on the importance of bees, bee life, hive organization, and a beekeeper’s job.
The whole route is about 5 km long (10 km round trip), but it is of course possible to do only part of it. The first posts pass by famous Eau Rouge spring.
Just a few meters past the last post, the magnificent Fontaines Blanches waterfalls are well worth a quick detour.
Suggestion:
The return journey can also be made along the Chemin des Planètes which follows the alpine road of the Vallon de They with a break at the Cantine de They.
