The Galerie de la Tine in Troistorrents has been organising exhibitions for almost 30 years of 19th and 20th century artists as well as contemporary artists in a special place: a listed chalet built in 1846 and restored (Swiss Heritage Prize 1992), a bread oven, a barn in the spectacular site of the Tine Gorges in Troistorrents (three vaulted stone bridges).
Mountains, nature, discovery, sensitivity and strength are the main themes of the artists presented, whether they are known as R. Hainard, E. Vallet, A. and F. Gos or contemporaries, G. Es-Borrat, M. Kozuck, P-Y. Gabioud, F. Egli.
The Galerie de la Tine is also…
A permanent exhibition of 300 m2, sculptures, chalet furniture, folk art, paintings and rustic objects from the 17th to the 20th century.
