The Portes du Soleil offers endless hours of wintertime fun on your doorstep. From gentle beginner slopes and endless, perfectly groomed avenues to steep bumpy runs, powder-filled gullies and immaculately shaped snow parks, we’ve got something for everyone!

BIKING AREA: 24 CHAIRLIFTS AND 75 DOWNHILL BIKE TRAILS

With hundreds of kilometers of bike trails, from downhill runs to enduro and cross-country trails, the Portes du Soleil ski area is open to all bikers! If burning legs and steep climbs are not your cup of tea, try renting an electric mountain bike. Convenient recharging stations dotted throughout the area mean that can ride to your heart’s content without having to worry about running out of steam!

Hiking Area: A HIKER’S PARADISE, WITH 800KM OF TRAILS AND 28 CHAIRLIFTS

Before the last winter snows have melted, hikers take over the mountainsides. There are almost limitless excursions to choose from, whether you stay closer to home or hitch a ride up into the peaks on one of the many chairlifts that stay open in summer. Take the time to smell the flowers, enjoy the panoramic views, dabble your toes in a frigid alpine lake and treat yourself to a delectable treat at a quaint mountain refuge…  

Before you leave, don’t forget your Multi Pass! This card gives you access to lifts within walking distance as well as many activities throughout the summer season. It’s available at the lifts ticket offices for CHF 18.- per day or CHF 120.- for the season.

The Champéry cable car will take you to the top of Croix de Culet at 2’144m, the starting point for many hiking tracks.
