A discovery walk to learn more about edible plants, punctuated by a delicious meal at Chez Coquoz featuring local produce.
Following in Agnès’s footsteps, herbalist and mountain guide Nathalie Nemeth-Défago takes you on an easy stroll to discover edible and medicinal wild plants in their autumn finery, as they have been used since time immemorial in the valley for food and medicine.
After picking, it’s time to enjoy the taste. While you prepare your aperitif, the Coquoz restaurant in Planachaux, a forerunner in wild plant cuisine in the region, will be concocting a most original and tasty 3-course meal based on their long experience in fine cuisine and edible wild plants.
You’ll leave with recipes, tips for recognizing plants, and amusing and surprising anecdotes about the uses of local plants.
