Kilian Granger, from Troistorrents, joined the Swiss National Team for ski mountaineering six years ago. Passionate about the mountains, skiing, and endurance sports, he spends countless hours in his backyard playground in Region Dents du Midi – summer and winter, on skis, running, or mountain biking.
Balancing competitions with helping run his family farm near Morgins, Kilian is thankful that he’s never far from the alpine trails that provide the foundation and spectacular backdrop for his training sessions.
Kilian loves the complementarity of ski mountaineering and the immense feeling of freedom it provides for the true mountain-lover. Long runs in the mountains are his greatest motivation. His record of achievements has flourished in recent seasons, and he has been lucky enough to enjoy some fine World Cup seasons, with results that bode well for the future. His big dream is to be in the running on the legendary Patrouille des Glaciers.
