Élodie Bertholet

A native of the region, Elodie started skiing at the age of 2. Since then, she has enjoyed years of pleasure and progress on the slopes. Despite her deep love of skiing, alpine ski racing has never really appealed to her. It wasn’t until 2021 that skicross captured her attention, and that was the start of an exciting new adventure for Elodie.

Aware of the challenges that awaited her, she devoted herself to her physical preparation, working tirelessly to get into top shape and strengthen her determination. Stephanie Joffroy, a renowned Chilean physical trainer and skicross skier, became her physical trainer. She immersed herself in on-snow training in Cervinia, Italy, under the expert guidance of French Olympic skicross medallist Marion Josserand.

For two years, Elodie has been plying the skicross courses in the U16 category at Swiss level, gaining experience and perfecting her technique. Now, on the eve of her 16th birthday. Today, she’s looking to take things to the next level and win her place in the Europa Cup!

At the same time, Elodie is an apprentice retail manager in the Region Dents du Midi.
